Pop-up Preset:
CONDUCT
(NOTE: covid restrictions apply until further notice.)
The OLYMPIANS are based on the ideology that men being naked together is a very joyous thing.
The freedom associated with being naked with a group of other men is very positive indeed. We don't want that feeling of freedom stifled, but sometimes men can get carried away, and communication is VERY important (even more so at times) and some basic rules must be followed for all events:
- The OLYMPIANS are not a clothing optional group, so you MUST remove your clothes once you've gotten signed in and dropped off your food and whatever else you may have arrived with. Body jewelry and other accessories are allowed, as long as they don't cover your genitals.
- Due to alcohol being served at our events, the minimum age to attend is 21.
- The door will remain open for 1 1/2 hours after the beginning of an event. At that point the door will be closed, and will not be opened for admittance or late entry. Please do not call the host or ring the doorbell after this time. We're sorry if you've had a problem arriving within the entry time window, but since there is advance notice of time & date for an event, there will be plenty of opportunities to attend a future event. We don't want to exclude anyone from enjoying an OLYMPIANS event, but it is only fair that all present by door curfew enjoy the experience without interruption, once the 1 1/2 hour entry window has passed.
- Most events are potluck, so whatever you bring, expect it to be shared. If you bring something special just for yourself be sure to put it in something that can be clearly labeled as such. This includes food and/or drink.
- Photography is NOT allowed at OLYMPIANS events. If an attendee is caught taking a picture of one of the other attendees, they will be forced to leave the event. Your cellphone should be put with your clothes when you arrive.
- Drinking of liquor is allowed, but you must bring your own. If you drink to the point of being unmanageable, you will be ejected from the event. If this behavior becomes a trend, you will be expelled from the membership.
- The OLYMPIANS has always been a social AND physical group with physical "play" iinvolved in our gatherings. Sometimes in the "heat of the moment" or "getting into" the joy of the naked physicality and sexual nature of the play, one can get carried away. If you approach someone sexually and they tell you NO or physically give you obvious signs that they do not want to be touched by you, do NOT continue to pursue this person! There is a general assumption that we are all adult men who are considerate of others and will respect that other person's personal space. Please do so! We don't want any member (or Guest) being uncomfortable about being naked around other men, especially members of the group. If more than one complaint is received by the Steering Committee on a particular attendee, a decision will be made as to whether this person's membership (or presence at the particular event) will be revoked or not.
- NOTE: Barebacking (unprotected anal sex) is NOT allowed at an OLYMPIANS event. Use of a condom is required for this and are provided free for your use. We are doing what we can to help reduce the spread of HIV. Yes, there are STD's out there, but it is your choice to partake in other contact sexual activity that might put you at risk for them. We would hope that as adults, the men attending the event (Member or Guest) would choose to not attend an event if they're infected with an STD so as not to share it with anyone.
- Clean up after yourself, please. It doesn't take that much effort to throw away cups, plates, etc. after you're done eating. Find the appropriate receptacle and put your trash in it (this also goes for used condoms, lube containers, paper towels, etc...). The cleaner we leave the spaces where the events are held, the more likely we'll continue to be able to use that space. Let's show the hosts that they shouldn't be hesitant about making their space available for an event. You will be called upon occasionally to assist in cleaning up if it's necessary.
- Smoking is not typically allowed inside at events and there is usually an area to smoke outside, sometimes sheltered, sometimes not.
- Bring a towel if the event includes a hot tub. It is unfair to assume that the host has spare towels for you to use, let alone the fact that they will then have to be laundered at the host's time and expense. If you don't bring a towel, don't just grab someone else's for your use. the info sheet with details and directions indicates whether or not there will be a hot tub available and a reminder to bring a towel. Suggestion: if you don't bring a towel, you really shouldn't use the hot tub. If you've invited a guest, please be sure to tell him he'll need a towel if the event includes a hot tub so he's not put in an embarrasing situation.
