GUIDELINES
Who We Are:
The OLYMPIANS is a social group for gay men who enjoy the freedom which comes with nudity and the gathering of a group of Naked Men in a welcoming, non-threatening environment.
ATTENTION: As we return to events, a copy of your full vaccination card (and Booster) will be required in advance to be able to attend an event.
Organization:
The business affairs of the club are managed by the Membership, Event & Newsletter Coordinator.
Activities:
The social activities of the group are the responsibility of the individual members (the hosts), who upon becoming a member of The OLYMPIANS guarantee that they will host or co-host an at some point.
(NOTE: If you live in a small apartment/condo, or if you wouldn't be willing to fill your house with nice, Naked men, you could Co-Host with someone at one of the larger events, helping the Host at that event.)
The host/co-host determines the rules of the function (i.e., time span of the event, type of function (potluck, catered dinner, dessert, etc.).
The host may place a limit on the number of attendees, if there are space limitations.
Members are notified of the function and host's rules through the newsletter. Attendees are expected to abide by the hosts' rules.
NOTE: The "house rules" of a host will NOT override the OLYMPIANS "Rules Of Conduct", but work WITH them.
ALSO: If you decide to Host an event in your home, you will receive a $75 stipend to help cover your expenses.
Newsletter:
A monthly Newsletter is published and sent out to the paid members, usually by the 10th of every month.
Dues:
Members who have paid their annual dues are members in good standing. Members who have allowed their membership to lapse for more than one year for any reason may be reinstated, at the discretion of the Steering Committee, by payment of their annual dues.
The membership fee is $25 for each member. Memberships are renewed annually.
Members will receive a reminder to pay their dues 30 days prior to renewal. If dues are not paid within 30 days after the renewal date, membership will be rendered "inactive". Membership may be reinstated upon subsequent payment of dues, retroactive to the date when payment was due. Dues are to be used for expenditures incurred by the organization.
Confidentiality:
Each member of the group must maintain the privacy and anonymity of all other members.
Phone numbers and information about other members of club activities are not to be given to any person or persons outside the membership, nor to any other organizations with the following explicit exceptions: a)Recruiting a prospective new member or b)Communicating with other recognized gay nudist organizations.
Members found in violation of this confidentiality will be expelled from the group.
New Members:
The prospective member can attend his first event as either a guest of a current member or as a guest upon contact with Tim, the Membership, Event & Newsletter Coordinator either in writing or through e-mail (preferred) or voice mail).
A guest fee of $5.00 will be collected at the door in either case.
A prospective member, after attending once as a guest, will be invited to join the group at the discretion of the current membership. If the guest chooses not to join yet, he may attend a second time as a guest (again paying $5.00). If he chooses to attend a third time, he would be required to pay the dues and become a member.
The current membership can refuse to accept an applicant's membership for any reason. That reason does not have to be disclosed to anyone outside of the current membership.
Your Name, Address, Phone # and Email are required by us for you to attend as a Guest. Information on an event will not be released without this information from you. Your information is REQUIRED for Liability reasons, and your information is NOT shared with anyone but the head of the group.
